Dr. Joseph Horowitz is an Industrial Psychologist and a Business Advisor with Human Capital Advisors.
In a career that has spanned four decades, he has specialized in Organization Development and focuses on performance excellence of employees and organizations. His focus is fit and how it impacts organizations, teams, individuals and culture.
Early in his career, he became particularly interested in the relationship between personality and job function.
During the next twenty-five years, he developed an extensive database that helps define the relationship between personality and the quality of job performance. This data is utilized in helping organizations with pre-employment screening, recruiting and organization development.
His clientele is located throughout the United States and Canada and other countries, consists of Fortune 500 companies as well as very small, entrepreneurial organizations with no more than a handful of employees and includes almost every industry and business type.
He supports the talent acquisition, coaching, executive advisory and organization effectiveness practices of Human Capital Advisors through profiling of individuals and providing his assessments to management and individuals. The focus of the assessment is on fit, which encompasses skills, culture and supervisory relationship.
Joe completed his undergraduate work in Psychology at Union College in Schenectady, NY and completed his Ph.D. in Industrial Psychology at Temple University.
