GINNY HOOD
Senior Project Manager
Ginny Hood is a Senior Project Manager in the Talent Acquisition practice of Human Capital Advisors. She has over 20 years of search experience and is responsible for strategy, research, sourcing and candidate development for retained searches from C-level to Director.
Ginny has broad experience and over the course of her career, has been involved in hundreds of search assignments across numerous industries and functional disciplines. Clients have ranged from Fortune 500 companies to start-ups along with numerous associations and nonprofits.
Earlier in her career, Ginny served as Client Partner at a boutique retained search firm based in Northern Virginia. In other roles, Ginny worked with a major regional firm as Director of Research, and as a senior research associate in the Washington Office of Korn Ferry International, one of the world’s leading retained executive search firms.
Prior to entering the executive search profession, Ginny held positions in the insurance and retail industries.
She earned a BS degree in Sociology from the University of South Carolina and did graduate work at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
