Maureen is a Leadership Coach with Human Capital Advisors. She is a certified executive coach, instructor, facilitator, and organization development consultant with over 25 years of leadership, coaching and management experience. She has executive coaching experience in public, private and non-profit organizations.
Maureen has broad experience in coaching leaders in the areas of leadership, strategy, communication, emotional intelligence, difficult conversations and feedback, stakeholder management, transition, and cultural competence.
During her 25 year IBM career, Maureen held leadership positions in training, consulting, marketing, manufacturing, business development, finance, and product planning. As IBM Learning Services Delivery Executive, IBM Global Services, she successfully managed a multi-million dollar P&L for IBM hardware and software conferences, custom and open enrollment training.
She also was a global project leader for the restructuring of IBM’s training business in 60+ countries. Maureen is an adjunct faculty member in the Executive Leadership and Innovation MBA Programs at James Madison University, where she co-directs the Leadership Development Program and teaches Leadership Communications.
She also provides coaching and organization development support through the University of Virginia’s Center for Leadership Excellence. She also provides coaching to executives in UVA’s Darden Executive and Global MBA Programs, as well as working with federal government and private sector leaders.
Maureen is a summa cum laude graduate of Mary Washington University, Fredericksburg, VA. She is a Professional Certified Coach recognized by the International Coach Federation.
