Scott joined Human Capital Advisors after a distinguished 35+ year career in Human Resources, half as a Partner-level consultant with major HR consultancies (Towers Perrin and Hay Management Consultants), and a half in a wide variety of HR roles, most recently as SVP HR for Freddie Mac in McLean, VA.
He is also a certified Georgetown Executive Leadership coach and a member of the International Coach Federation. Scott leverages his extensive background in senior HR roles to translate business strategies and objectives into practical, effective HR solutions.
He has worked extensively with Boards of Directors and C-Suite level executives on developing and implementing key HR strategies and initiatives. Scott has done extensive work in the areas of HR strategy, HR functional reviews/assessments, succession planning, culture change, talent management, change management, strategic communications, total reward strategy, executive and employee compensation design and implementation, leadership development, performance management, and employee engagement.
In his most recent role, Scott worked closely with eight CEOs and respective Boards of Directors to develop and execute mission-critical HR initiatives in response to ever-evolving business environments during the financial crisis. This involved extensive HR program modifications along with corresponding change management and strategic communications.
