An increasing number of executives are using a Strategic Advisor, who, unlike a “consultant,” does not conduct lengthy or costly studies.  Rather, an HCA Strategic Advisor is an experienced outsider who is both a good listener and an organized thinker.


An HCA Advisor’s methodology helps an executive shape strategies or tactics to address a particular need.  The executive’s participation creates ownership of the outcome.


Many executives have their “informal” advisors, be they golfing buddies or fellow club members. The more formal relationship between a client executive and a Strategic Advisor is dependent upon creating a confidential environment built on candor and trust.  Since an Advisor is not part of the organization, he or she comes without a bias or preference, helping ensure objectivity.
