Each managing partner of Human Capital Advisors provides expertise in one or more areas of Human Capital management with knowledge accumulated over years in their consulting and corporate management careers.

THEODORE A. BRUCCOLERI:  Ted brings over 30 years of business experience where he has served in a variety of roles including general management, sales, marketing, finance and human resources. After a 13-year career as an audit and HR executive with Arthur Andersen, he founded and built several staffing organizations culminating in the sale of his business to a NYSE company. Ted has consulted with and coached many executives. He has been an officer, served on the board and chaired committees for a number of business organizations and charitable activities, including the Greater Washington Board of Trade and the Northern Virginia Technology Council.


KARLA LEAVELLE: Karla has nearly 30 years experience as a human resource executive in a variety of industries, including retail, finance, consulting, technology and telecommunications. She has led Human Capital Management activities at large, complex organizations such as Verizon, Network Solutions and The Southland Corporation, and in a start-up venture.  Karla possesses expertise in executive management evaluation for venture capitalists, infrastructure development, performance management and organizational development. Karla has served on boards and committees of the Darden School of Business at the University of Virginia, the Northern Virginia Technology Council, and Fairfax County Public Schools.  She holds an M.B.A. from DePaul University and is an adjunct professor at George Mason University School of Management.
JOHN R. TYDINGS: John began his career at the Potomac Electric Power Company. In January of 2002 he stepped down after 32 years from his position as President of the Greater Washington Board of Trade.  He is a founder of Leadership Washington, Inc., and the 1989 recipient of the American Chamber of Commerce Executives’ Professional Leadership Award as the outstanding chamber executive in America.  John was a 1983 Washingtonian of the Year, and the recipient of the 2000 Globe & Anchor Award from the U.S. Marine Corps. In 2001, he was honored by Partners for Livable Communities with the Bridge Builder’s Award, and was awarded American University’s Kogod School of Business Dean’s Community Leadership Award. John holds a BA degree from the University of Maryland, and was awarded an honorary Doctorate of Public Service from The George Washington University in 2001.  In 2003, he was inducted into the Washington Business Hall of Fame. 
ANTHONY CANCELOSI: Tony has had a distinguished career in technology where he has served as chief executive for a number of companies and has served on Boards of Directors and Advisory Boards.  He has raised numerous rounds of capital, brought a range of products through development to market and has grown and developed talented teams of employees. He has mentored and coached managers and executives and has contributed to the business world and the community through his participation in a number of prominent organizations.  Tony is former President for the Association for Corporate Growth.  Tony has taken a leave as an active principal in Human Capital Advisors to accept the CEO position at Columbia Lighthouse for the Blind.
